Detailed description is The UMN Dome is a temporary on campus facility and will typically be in use from November through April.
When the UMN Dome is not erected, the field space will be used for activities and sports of the outdoor variety.
The Student Recreational Sports Dome opened its doors to the University of Minnesota community on January 17, 2011.
Commonly referred to as “UMN Dome”, this facility is 240’ wide, 330’ long, and has a maximum height of 75’.

Activities that will take place in this facility include (but are not limited to) soccer, lacrosse, ultimate frisbee, flag football, softball, rugby, kickball, instructional camps, and many other activities..
