The UMD Observatory is open to the public on the 5th and 20th of each month.
From May-Oct the program begins at 9pm..
From Nov-Apr the program begins at 8pm..
No reservations are required for individuals/families..

We do tours for groups as well.
Evening group sessions are done an hour before the public session.
Day sessions are done M-F between 10am-4pm.
Groups must call to reserve a time.
