Detailed description is University of Kentucky College of Agriculture - Ag Communications The Extension IT unit is responsible for managing, and supporting the use of information technology (IT) resources within the Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service Unit.
Information Technology resources include workstations, servers, network connectivity (both off-campus Extension offices along with numerous other college facilities), incident management services, video conferencing technology, handheld devices, and various other equipment and services.
As county infrastructure has matured, demand for server support within the offices has also been elevated to the DEITC group.
Our primary focus is on the user; making sure they have access to the IT resources they need to perform the business functions of their jobs..
