It is the only pharmacy school at a public Arizona university and one of four health professions colleges at the Arizona Health Sciences Center campus.
The college is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.HistoryIn September 1947, the School of Pharmacy opened as part of the University of Arizona Liberal Arts College.
Eighty-three students were enrolled.
It became a full-fledged college in 1949, with 206 students and seven faculty members.
