Detailed description is We serve students at the University of Akron to provide them a guiding force in finding and pursuing all goals while at UA.
Mentoring is a one-on-one relationship between an upperclassman at the University of Akron (mentor) and a new first-year student (mentee).
The relationship develops over a one-year period of time with defined roles and expectations for each person.
The mentor should be a dedicated upper-class student who is a knowledgeable, experienced student that is also willing to share his/her time, energy and talents.
Through regular meetings and activities, mentors will help their mentees discover the potential within themselves to .
