Detailed description is Universitas Mataram adalah sebuah perguruan tinggi negeri di kota Mataram, provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat, Indonesia.SejarahUniversitas Mataram didirikan pada 1 Oktober 1962.
Awalnya kampus Universitas Mataram terletak di Jalan Pendidikan No.
36 Mataram.
Dan sekarang dikenal sebagai kampus lama.
Namun seiring dengan perkembangan kampus Unram, sekarang kampus baru terletak di Jalan Majapahit Mataram.Lokasi KampusUniversitas Mataram memiliki dua area kampus yang agak sedikit terpisah oleh perumahan dosen dan fasilitas kampus lainnya.Kampus LamaKampus lama terletak di Jalan Pendidikan Mataram, di lokasi ini semula terdapat Fakultas Ekonomi, Hukum dan Pertanian, namun pada perkembangannya kampus lama sekarang digunakan untuk Program Magister Manajemen, UPT Pusat Bahasa, UPT Penelitian, UPT Pengembangan Masyarakat, dan Laboratorium Lapangan Fakultas Perikanan.Kampus BaruKampus Baru Unram, terletak di Jalan Majapahit, dimana gerbang utama dan Gedung rektorat Unram tepatnya berada di jalan ini.
Sementara kampus fakultas-fakultasnya bisa diakses melalui gerbang utama ini kemudian menyususri jalan lingkar yang melingkari semua fakultas yang ada di Unram, mulai dari Rektorat, Fakultas Ekonomi, Fakultas Hukum, Fakultas Teknik, Fakultas Pertanian, Fakultas Peternakan, Fakultas MIPA, Fakultas Kedokteran, Fakultas Keguruan, Fakultas Teknologi Pangan dan Agroindustri, UPT Perpustakaan, UPT Komputer, Asrama Mahasiswa, GOR, Masjid Baabul Hikmah, dan Auditorium M.
