Unity Church English Hand Bell Choir of North Easton was founded in 1991 upon receipt of a gift of a set of Schulmerich hand bells by Elizabeth Ames, benefactor of the Unity Church of North Easton and wife of the late David Ames, a descendant of Massachusetts Governor Ames.
For 25 years the bell choir was under the direction of Richard Hill, the organist and music director of Unity Church until his retirement in 2015 at which time Susan Maffa was asked to become the director.

Currently we have 12 members in the bell choir that play 3 octaves of bells and we have a fairly extensive repertoire of sacred and secular music appropriate for many occasions.
The bell choir has played throughout Southeastern Massachusetts including at Borderland Mansion, Brockton Symphony, Faneuil Hall and many local church and Grange events..
