shahs2@uncw.edu The School of Health and Applied Human Sciences, housed in the College of Health and Human Services, offers comprehensive four-year professional preparation programs leading to the Bachelor of Arts degrees in: Physical Education and Health (K-12 Teacher Licensure); Athletic Training; Recreation Therapy; and Recreation, Sport Leadership and Tourism Management.
The School also offers a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education and Exercise Science, a Master of Science in Applied Gerontology, a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Gerontology, and a post-baccalaureate Graduate Certificate in Gerontology.
