安邦豆原這間老新村屋子，是建築師父葉勝在1973年接受了第一代土生華人的委託，用水泥、紅磚、板木和白鋅以個把月的時間搭建成的。板木是這房子大量使用的建材，也許是當時的通則。.

2009年豆原在半山芭開業，就耐心等候與良木相遇。大半世紀前的學生桌子，老茶餐室的木椅子，到工作了近乎整百年的剛退休木雕招牌，都在咖啡館裡日益磨亮了生命。.

2013年8月30日，也是房子主人75歲的生辰。豆原善用多年回收的大件木料，手工構造了無頂十字亭洗盆架，木面吧台和長桌，固守原木素面的追求，厚重地向新生的良木和良屋的新人致意。.
