I started my soap company because I was tired of driving 30 minutes or more to find great, hand-crafted soaps.
As a crafty person myself, I thought it could be something I would be able to make myself.
After watching hours upon hours of YouTube videos, and reading endless instructions online, I placed a huge order for equipment and ingredients..

Cold-Processed soap (uses Lye in the process), takes 4-8 weeks to cure.
After making my first few batches of soap, I allowed them to cure and then handed them out to all my friends to test.
In the meantime I was making all sorts of different scents with sheer excitement.
Once the first round of soaps was handed out, my friends and family started to insist that they pay for it.
I knew something was going in the right direction! Two Ravens Soap Company was officially born in February 2014..

Why the name Two Ravens Soap Company? In mountain cultures, Ravens are symbols of those lost in the mountains doing what they loved best, being adventurous! They’re known to fly over the area to protect others adventuring in the mountains.
Anytime I’m out in the backcountry I look for these symbols of protection.
