Ormond has a holiday home there and saw the need for a publication that showcased the beauty of the region..

The partnership was formed in 2004, and six months later Tucker Media published the first book, Images of a Nation - Taupo.
The first print run of 4000 copies sold out some time ago..

He has very recently retired as a business mentor, working with Venture Taranaki.

He covered three America's Cup regattas as a member of team New Zealand, including 1989, when New Zealand won the cup.
Widely published in newspapers, magazines and books, Rob is a trained illustrations editor and sub editor.

Jim’s career has been as a writer, journalist, editor, researcher and media teacher.
He began as a reporter for the Taranaki Herald in New Plymouth, starting as office boy making the tea and moving up to Chief Reporter within four years.
Jim then moved to the Auckland Star, where he continued his rise through the ranks to become Editor.
At age 34, he was the youngest such appointment ever to a NZ metropolitan newspaper.
After launching the Sunday Star, Jim left to become a lecturer in journalism at Auckland Institute of Technology, beginning a 25-year teaching career that ended as Associate Dean of the School of Media at Whitireia Polytechnic in Wellington.
