登寶堂佔地 3.38 英畝。視野開闊。真佛宗根本傳承上師蓮生活佛於1999年即鑑定登寶堂風水90分，並說這樣風水地理已很難找到，建廟最好。.

後答弟子問賜名「登寶」二字意義時說：「登寶就是登上寶地」。.

2006年2月蓮生活佛在台灣指出登寶墓園地下有一條龍脈。同年9月蓮生活佛實地為未來登寶雷藏寺點地時說此處另有一條龍脈並結為「畚箕穴」的大地理。.

沿革：.

登寶堂是真佛宗在美國首都地區的道場，位於馬里蘭州蒙哥馬利郡。登寶堂的前身－華府同修會，是本堂釋蓮紀法師未出家前於1999年發心成立，並提供自家地下室作為同修之用。後來集眾人之力購入現址。目前暫用園地上近50年屋齡的老舊民宅。儘管外表不起眼，但房屋內部完全是一座密宗道場，計有大殿、功德殿、護摩殿、金爐、僧房等等。法務目前由釋蓮紀法師帶領主持。每月訂有各種同修及弘法日程。.

登寶堂的堂名是蓮生活佛所賜。活佛又賜了一付偈聯給登寶堂的弟子們作為修行的最高準則。活佛又說：「登寶」就是登上寶地。對修行的人來說，寶地是什麼？毫無疑問，寶地就是十方佛土。對俗世的人來說，寶地是藏寶之地。來寶地必不空回。.
