Detailed description is Tri-City Airport is a city-owned public-use airport located 11 nautical miles (20 km) west of the central business district of Parsons, a city in Labette County, Kansas, United States.In 1942 this was the Cherryvale Army Air Force Auxiliary Field #9 for the Independence Army Airfield.Between 1979 and 1986, PPF was served by Air Midwest operating under Eastern Airlines.
