Als kleines Kind wollte ich alles von oben sehen, eine Art Weltübersicht haben, verstehen worum es in dieser Welt geht.
Mit 4 hatte ich mein erstes Berufsziel.
Fallschirmspringerin zu werden, erschien mir mehr als logisch.
Ich fand es wunderbar schwebend das Leben zu erfahren.

Ich liebte es von meinem Vater in die Luft geworfen zu werden, denn dann konnte ich alles sehen und gleichzeitig in Bewegung bleiben.
Ich fing an zu zeichnen, auch in Bewegung, währen ich Karussell fuhr.
Damit entstand mein zweiter und endgültiger Berufswunsch - Künstlerin..
Ich zeichnete und malte wie eine wahnsinnige.
Ständig.

Später studierte ich Kunst an der Kunstakademie in Jerusalem.
Ich wurde langsam ernst genommen, sogar von mir selbst.
Das war der Moment mich zu fragen, was mir in meiner Kunst wichtig war.
Ich war nicht mehr auf der suche nach Wahrheiten, nach Antworten auch nicht.
Viel mehr interessierten mich die Fragen, auf die es endlos viele Antworten gab.
Keine Eindeutigkeiten.
Ich kehrte zurück zu meiner kindlichen Wahrnehmung der Welt, die von Neugierde und vom sich wundern, regiert war und konzentrierte mich nicht mehr auf die Wirklichkeit, sondern auf deren Umkehrung..
Die Malerei blieb immer ein Bestandteil meiner Arbeit, aber nicht mehr war sie ihr Hauptpunkt.
Installationen, Objekte, Fotografie, digitale Malerei und auch einige Performances kamen dazu.
Ich passte die Technik und die Ausführung der Idee an.
So ist es geblieben.

Ich arbeite und denke thematisch.
Es ist mir unwichtig, ob ich einen Pinsel, eine Kamera, einen Hammer oder eine Maus in der Hand halte.
Alles, was für mich zum Thema oder Konzept passt, hat Berechtigung.
Ich nutze jede Technik, die ich beherrsche und lerne auch gerne neue dazu.
Der Wandel ist meine Konstante geworden.
Diesen Freiraum liebe ich..

Und doch unabhängig davon was für ein Projekt ich anfange, egal wie einfach oder komplex meine Arbeiten sind, gibt es immer einen gemeinsamen Nenner.

in einem Wort, es geht um die ZEIT.

As a small child I wanted to view everything from above, wanted to have "Weltübersicht" - an overview,.
to understand what the world is all about ..
At the age of 4 I had my first professional goal.
To become a parachutist seemed more than logical, to experience life levitating was wonderful idea.
I loved to be tossed into the air by my father, to have a clear view and be in motion at the same time..
I started to draw, being in motion, while riding a carousel.
Thus my second and final career choice - being an artist.
I was drawing and painting like a maniac.
Without end.
Later I studied fine arts at the Bezalel Art Academy in Jerusalem.

Slowly people started to take my work seriously, and so did I.
That was the right moment to ask myself what was in my art of importance to me what of my art really mattered to me.
Neither was I looking for truths anymore, nor for answers.
Much more interesting seemed questions with an infinite number of answers.
Dis-ambiguities.
I returned to the childlike perception of the world, governed by curiosity and amazement, no longer focused on reality, but on its inversion..
Although painting always remained an element of my work, it was no longer its main part.

Installations, objects, photography, digital painting, theater costumes, and performances rounded my art off.
Techniques and implementations i used were mostly depending on the basic idea.
This is still the case .
I work and think thematically.
Regardless using a brush, camera, hammer or (computer-) mouse, anything that fits the subject or the concept is welcome.

I use every technique I have mastered and I enjoy learning new ones.
Change has become my constant and i am enjoying this freedom enormously.
Yet regardless which project I start, no matter how simple or complex my work is, there is always a common denominator.
I work with motifs and materials which are VOLATILE , INVISIBLE , EPHEMERAL , FLOATING , OVERLOOKED, OBSCURE , IMPERFECT , DILAPIDATED, MOVABLE, MOVING , VANISHING , MYSTERIOUS , AMUSING or ABSURD ....
