The Tofino Ambassador Program (TAP) is a FREE educational program that aims to build a strong and healthy community, encouraging a positive attitude among responsible citizens, improving community relations with visitors, and growing support for the diversity and well-being of area businesses..

Who is the program for? TAP is open to all local residents, including seasonal staff, newcomers and business owners.
It’s all about Tofino – its history and first inhabitants, its ecology, its business community, its festival and events, and much more.

What courses are offered? Three courses were offered in 2015, including an Introductory Course, West Coast Ecology and Nuu-chah-nulth Landscape.
The same three courses are being offered for 2016 with some revamping of the curriculum and exciting new components added.
