Detailed description is Time Lost Timber uses only reclaimed materials that I personally get myself from local barns around Minnesota,Wisconsin and Iowa.
We use only reclaimed wood.Every board used in any project has been taken off an old barn or building that was either going to rot into a pile or be destroyed for development.
I use everything I can from these old treasures.
Once this beautiful resource is gone..it's truly gone.
You will not find old growth, reclaimed barnwood with rusty old barn nails in them, bullet holes and old weathered paint on it in any big warehouse super store..
When a barn is taken apart board by board it gets cleaned of nails and stored for sale or use in different projects.Some of those projects range from making small picture frames,harvest tables and up to home remodeling.My favorite project and business to work for has been the Patina Stores around Minneapolis.We were lucky enough to be chosen by Rick and Christine to do their 50th and Bryant remodel after their unfortunate fire in 2011.
Another fun remodel was Muddy Waters in Uptown where we built all the bars,tables,one booth in back,trim and huge double window in the VIP room.They have amazing food if your looking for something to do.
Other projects have been for Wilson's Leather stores,residential work and business store front signs..
I post ads on Craigslist often.In my ads I warm people of some craftsman selling tables that carry the "Post Powder Beetle".They are a small bug that lays dormant in old wood,so before you have something made make sure they are either not there or have been taken care of first..
