Hello! Thank you for considering Tiffani’s Daycare Services for this tough decision.
I try and provide a clean, safe, and fun environment for your child to grow and learn.
At my daycare, we learn by utilizing a structured setting and through fun, making everything we do a learning experience! .

I do provide snacks and drinks, but I do ask that parents provide meals unless you pay an additional charge.
I will also provide your child with their own sheet but I do ask parents to provide their child with a blanket and snuggle toy if he/she needs one.
I feel it helps your child feel more comfortable to have something from home to nap with.

Some of the things we teach are colors, numbers, shapes and letter recognition, counting, sight words, sorting, matching, body parts, verbal skills, and gross and fine motor skills.
I also read, sing, and dance every day! Each week we come up with a different theme, such as learning about dinosaurs, Dr.
Seuss week, nursey rhymes, or holiday events to name a few.

Weather permitting, we do try and play outside every day.
These activities include but aren’t limited to: free play, sand box, swing set, pool, sprinkler, cars, scooters, bounce house (also used inside), basketball, chalk, and bubbles.
We also try to color, paint, or do a craft each day (these items will be sent home with you).
Some days we also try and cook or bake items such as: cookies, cupcakes, brownies, muffins, and popsicles.
These items will be eaten as snacks (parents permitting) or be sent home..

Rugs are vacuumed and floors are cleaned every day.
Toys are wiped down as needed and sterilized weekly.
You may choose to leave items such as: Sippy cups or bottles, diapers wipes, etc.
They will be labeled and used for your child only.

If your child is sick with a fever or an upset stomach I do ask that you wait until they are symptom free for 24 hours before bringing them in.
If your child is sick in my care I will call and ask that they get picked up.
This is in the best interest and safety of our other children.

If an accident were to happen in my care it will be documented and a detailed description of what happened will be given to you upon pick up.
Serious injuries will have the parents notified immediately.

If your child is having behavioral problems the parents will be informed so we can work together to correct the behavior.
Discipline techniques used are the distraction technique or timeout for serious problems, and the parents will be informed.

TV is almost never on.
If for some reason it is on it will be on a music channel or an educational and child friendly channel (usually Sprout).
Occasionally, we will have a movie day where we will eat snacks and watch a children’s movie.
I do have a tablet that only has educational games.
Parents permitting the child can use it each day for a set amount of time.
