Amanda and I have been married for 5 years this past July.
December 26, 2009, we were blessed with a late Christmas present, our son, and little miracle, Khyler..

At 8 years old I stood in Sharon Baptist Church with my suit and tie, and told the Associate Pastor I was going to be in the ministry one day.
Although I was young I knew God had a purpose for me..

My dad was the Pastor for 22 years at Sharon Baptist Church in Cumming, Georgia.
All that I knew was church.
It was like our 2nd home.
For years I believed in Christ, because that is what I was taught.
When I was 16 years old my dad was diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia, and it turned our world upside down.
With 4 other siblings, our lives were completely changed.
Four years later, after many complications, it got worse, and the doctors gave him 7 days to live.
He preached his own funeral, and they sent him home to die.
(Morbid, I know… Hold on, it gets better.).

During the same time my dad was sick, a friend of our families was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia.
She was 11 years old.
Her father was a Pastor and good friends with my Dad.
After seeing what my dad had gone through I thought to myself “why would God allow this little girl to go through something so terrible”? After many struggles, and rounds of chemotherapy the doctors told her family there was nothing more they could do.
The Make A Wish Foundation sent her and her family to Disney World, then home to say goodbye, although she did not know that is what she was doing.
It was a scary time for our families as we faced the same thing..

Thirteen years later, I am now thirty years old, and my dad is still alive, and cancer free!{happy dance!} The little girls name is “Amanda”, she is now my wife, and like my dad they are both walking miracles.
After a few detours, God has taught me how to trust Him.
Through the trials and the fire, God has shown me to ask Him for the impossible, and He will do things you would humanly not think could ever happen.
He has personally shown me the invisible that only He could do.
I now own my own faith, and Gods grace has brought me to a place of full surrender.
He has called me to start a church(s), to start a movement with Christ as the filter for all we do..

In 2010, God begin to burden my heart to start a church.
Being in services my whole life I realized one Sunday we create church services to appease church people, instead of creating services to reach the lost.
After that moment God began to work on my and Amanda’s heart to plant churches that will reach those far from God.
It wasn’t until two years later when I knew it was time to activate our faith.
I was at great church in a position, a salary, insurance, the works, and we were very comfortable.
I was challenged to live not just preach, obedience creates opportunities.
We stepped out in faith, knowing God was going to take care of all the details we did not know..

Today He is still guiding our steps, and showing His favor in our lives.
As we go forward with what God has called us to do, it is only the beginning.
We are excited to see where God takes us, and how He ends “Our Story”.
We follow Him and trust Him every step of the way..
