Thief River Falls Public School District #564 is spread over three counties covering 470 square miles and serves a population of approximately 14,000 people.
It is the largest school district in the northwest corner of the State of Minnesota.
Enrollment in the district is approximately 2100 students in grades Pre-K through 12 and the Area Learning Center.
The district consists of an elementary school (Challenger), a middle school (Franklin), a high school (Lincoln), a magnet arts school (Northern Expressions School of the Arts) and an alternative education program (Northwest Area Learning Center).
