Detailed description is The 'Three Chefs Waiters Race' will be held at the Wagga Wagga Food & Wine Festival, run by the Wollundry Rotary Club, on 31st March 2012.
The 'Three Chefs Waiters Race' will be held at the Wagga Wagga Food & Wine Festival, run by the Wollundry Rotary Club, on 31st March 2012..

The race provides an opportunity for local hospitality businesses to showcase their skills and to get together to show comradery within the industry.

Registration forms will be handed out to local hospitality businesses prior to the festival by race organisers.
Forms may also be completed on the day and handed into the registration desk.
All forms must be completed and handed in by 2pm on the day..
To enter the race, a team of two people is required.
The races will consist of two heats, resulting in one final.
The heats will start at approximately 3:45pm with the final commencing at 4:30pm..

General Rules.
• NO running.
• Work uniform with covered in shoes must be worn by each participant .
• Trays must be held with one hand only (Participants must not hold wine bottle and/or wine glasses with their free hand to help support ).
• A yellow warning card will be issued on the first offence of the following actions:.
o Running.
o Causing any interference or deliberate distraction to an opposing team.
• A red disqualification card will be issued to a team if either of the above actions are performed a second time during the race.
• The first team across the finish line with their glasses filled up to the marked point wins.
• The first team across the finish line may only be deemed the successful winner of the race providing all the above general rules have been followed correctly.

Race Rules.
• First team member starts at Table 1 by putting on their apron and waiters cloth..
• They place the uncorked wine bottle on their tray and walk to Table 2 where they uncork the wine bottle and pour two glasses of wine..
• They then carry their tray with the uncorked wine bottle and two full wine glasses to Table 3 where the second team member is waiting and has prepared by putting on their apron and waiters cloth..
• The team members then have to transfer the wine bottle and two full wine glasses from the first team member’s tray to the second team member’s tray without any spillage..
• The second team member then has to walk the course again carrying their tray with the wine bottle and full glasses back to Table 1 where they place their uncorked wine bottles..
• The second team member then turns around at Table 1 and proceeds to the finish line with their two full wine glasses on their tray..
