Detailed description is Welcome to the Facebook home of the Virginia Commonwealth University Percussion Studio! Please check back often for updates! The VCU Percussion Studio is comprised of undergraduate students majoring in music at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.
Members of the VCU Percussion Studio are trained in all areas of modern percussion - contemporary solo repertoire, symphonic percussion, world/hand percussion, drum set, and chamber music.
The studio members gain a wealth of performance opportunities through participation in the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, VCU Symphony Orchestra, University Band, and in the VCU Percussion Ensemble..
