To this day, we pride ourselves on the continuity of a loyal team of staff who are dedicated to recognising your child's individual needs and encouraging them to flourish..

WHAT WE OFFER:.

Operating from two rooms at the W.I.
Hall, we have access to outside play areas, with a grassed secure fenced-in area at the back of the hall and a fenced and gated area at the front of the hall comprising of tarmac.
This makes it suitable for bicycles and other physical activity and ensures that we can offer a wide range of activities both inside and out..

THE STAFF:.

At present, we have six friendly and experienced members of staff who work with the children.
Of these staff, five have an Early Years qualification of NVQ Level 3.
All staff have received safeguarding training and six members of staff have a current paediatric First Aid certificate.
Several members of staff also have a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate..

NURSERY FUNDED PLACES:.

The Three Bears Pre-School operates the Government Funded Places for 3 and 4 year olds.
Parents of 3 and 4 year olds are eligible the term after their 3rd birthday to claim 15 hours per week entitlement for their child (spaces permitting)..

The Three Bears Pre-School also has spaces available as part of the Free for 2 scheme which offers funded pre-school places to eligible families..

The Three Bears Pre-school is a charity based pre-school run by a parent committee.
The current Chairperson is Lisa Kirkwood.
The committee is elected each year at the A.G.M.

Any parent is welcome to stand for the committee and be involved in fundraising and support for their child's preschool years..

SWEATSHIRTS:.

New children will receive a sweatshirt free of charge.
If you would like to buy any other items, the current prices are £9.00 for a sweatshirt and £5.00 for a t-shirt.

During the first week back after each half term, the sweatshirts will be put on display in the hall, in order for you to choose colours and sizes..

FUNDRAISING:.

We now have an account with art and craft suppliers Yellow Moon, who supply an excellent range of high quality products for children.
Parents will receive catalogues throughout the year, displaying an order code on the front.
When ordering your craft materials, if you provide them with this code, the pre-school will receive a percentage of the profits.

TODDLER GROUP:.

Every Wednesday morning we run a toddler group in the small hall from 9.45am to 11.15am.
This is open to children aged 12 months and over.
As part of the group, the children benefit from visiting the preschool in the main hall and joining in any activities which are running.
It costs just a £1.00, which covers a snack for children and a drink refreshment for mummies.
There is no need to pre-book a place...just come along!.
