Throughout her college and professional career, Rachel has not only performed in but also accompanied many collegiate choirs, bands and ensembles and accompanied dozens of vocalists and instrumentalists.
She was privileged to participate in numerous music symposiums, master classes and honor choirs, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Southeastern University in 2005.
Over the past 17 years as a private piano and voice instructor, Rachel has coached a national vocal competition winner as well as dozens of other talented students.
Rachel is the Office Manager for Ezy-Glide, Inc.
in Chipley, FL and serves as the pianist for Inwood Baptist Church in Grand Ridge, FL.
From 2006 through 2010, Rachel served as Pre-K through 4th grade Music Teacher for Kate M.
Smith Elementary School in Chipley, FL.
She has been actively involved with Spanish Trail Playhouse in Chipley, FL for over 5 years and currently serves in a variety of roles including Music Director and Business Secretary of the Board of Directors.
She has been a part of 21 productions with Spanish Trail Playhouse since 2008..

ABOUT THE LESSONS.

The Vocal and Piano lessons are open to anyone, regardless of age.
I have coached from children as young as 6 years of age to a woman late in her 80's.
Age should not be a factor when deciding on taking vocal or piano lessons..

I strongly believe that anybody can learn how to make music.
Yes, I mean YOU! No matter what you have been told in the past in regards to your musical ability or vocal ability, do not let it dissuade you from considering lessons.
Why? Simple: You can't be proficient at something if you have never been taught the fundamentals on how to do it.
If you apply yourself and believe in yourself, you can and WILL notice vast improvement from, "Hey, can you stop with that racket?" and "Will you stop banging on those keys?" to, "Wow, you sound pretty good" or "You have a real talent for that, you know?".
