Detailed description is The Skatebarn Skatepark has been around for nearly 20 years and has something for every type of skater.
Street, Ramp or Bowl we've got you covered.

The Skate Barn in Hampstead, NC is a 6000 square foot, indoor, wooden paradise for skaters..

We also offer contests, summer camps, beginner clinics, private lessons, park rentals and professional demos at The Skate Barn.

2 Bowls: 3 ft bowl & 5 ft bowl.

Quarterpipes (various sizes).
Bank Ramps.
Gap/Double Set (3 flat 3).

3 Sided Transition Hip (With 12ft Grind box across the top).
Wallride.
All layered in Skatelite, it’s fast and all connectable.
No pushing necessary..

16 ft wide, 40ft long concrete street pad (It has a manual pad & ledge for your grinding pleasure.).
2 Halfpipes:.
6 ft x 24ft wide.
3ft x 12ft wide.
Both layered in steel and both have extensions..
Various Banks/Flat Rails/Grind Boxes.

Note: Our rates are for all day sessions, we do not charge hourly rates.
Pay one flat rate and skate all day, come and go as you please..

Memberships (Annual Fee) .
**Members are entitled to discounts Doublewide Skate & Surf**.
Copper - $15.
$5 sessions ($8 on Saturdays) .
5% off soft goods @ Doublewide.

Silver - $45.
$4 sessions ($6 on Saturdays).
10% off soft goods, 5% off hard goods @ Doublewide.

Gold - $65.
$3 sessions ($5 on Saturdays).
15% off soft goods, 10% off hard goods @ Doublewide.

Are pads required? .
Helmets are required for all skaters under the age of 21.
No exceptions.
If you are asked to wear your helmet and refuse you will be asked to leave the park.
Helmets can be rented for $3 per day..

Can I rent out the skatepark and how much does it cost? .
The Skate Barn can be rented for private sessions/parties before or after our usual business hours.
The price is $40 per hour.
Please contact our skate shop (Doublewide) to book a party (910-270-3497).
A $20 deposit is required..

Do you sell skateboard supplies? .
Doublewide Skate & Surf is conveniently located in front of the Skate Barn.
We stock a ton of boards and accessories there, along with clothing and shoes.
Make sure to check out the shop if you come to the park!.

Do you sell food and drink and can we bring our own? .
Yes, sell water, sodas, Gatorade and various snacks.
You are welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks..

Do you allow BMX bikes? .
BMX bikes aren't allowed into the park during business hours.
We do occasionally allow BMX during park rentals under certain circumstances.
i.e.
no metal pegs allowed..

Are there certain times for beginners only? .
Yes, every Saturday from 11am-12pm is our beginners only session..

Do you offer skate lessons ?.
Yes, $25 per hour (or $40 for two hours).
The lessons take place before or after business hours.
You are one-on-one with an instructor and you get the entire skatepark to yourself.
We also offer beginner clinics, please call for details on the clinics..
