Detailed description is A lively Cotswold Country Pub.
Serving an ever changing range of Hook Norton beers and Artisan Gins.
Lovingly prepared food.
& Proper Sunday Lunches.
Although we are all about the Ale and Gin we also serve rather lovely bar snacks.
Winter food serving times are Wednesday to Sunday Midday to 2.30pm (until 3pm on Sunday) and Evenings Wednesday to Saturday 6pm - 8.30pm.
Summer food serving times are Tuesday to Sunday - Midday until 2.30pm (until 3pm on Sunday) and Evenings Tuesday to Saturday 6pm - 8.30pm..

We only reserve tables in the lounge area.
Any groups over 6 MUST pre order.
Otherwise if you want to eat please just come along, order a drink at the bar, let the staff know you wish to eat.

Being a pub and not a restaurant we ask that food and drink ordering is done at the bar as we do not offer a table service, and because we are only a small pub with limited staffing levels..

On Saturday evenings we have live music from 8.30pm, a variety of genres from melodic acoustic solo artists to slightly livelier cover bands.
Bank Holiday weekends tend to be a bit livelier so make sure you pack your dancing shoes if you are out this way on a holiday break..

Due to licensing restrictions young children under 5 cannot remain on the premises after 7.30pm and all children under 14 not past 9pm.
We have a very lovely garden and relaxing lounge area which we encourage families with children to use.
We do ask that under 14's do not enter the Flagstone bar area as we reserve this area for adults only.
Any parent allowing their children into this area and then rolling their eyes or complaining about adult language or behaviour will be reminded of our policy!.
