Are you a young person between the ages of 11 and 25? Do you identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning (LGBTQ) or consider yourself an ally? If so, you should come check out one of the three youth programs under the RCC umbrella! The Rainbow Community Center of Contra Costa County hosts three groups: the first group is geared towards LGBTQ and Ally youth ages 18 to 25 with a focus on leadership and personal development.
The second group is for LGBTQ and Ally youth ages 14 to 17, with a focus on identity development, creating social connections, and 1-on-1 mentoring.
The third group is for middle schoolers ages 11-13 and focuses on identity discovery and activism in schools.
All groups strive to promote self acceptance and a positive self-identity for all youth in a healthy and fun environment.
