(The Old State Park Road) on Birchwood Trail and was built by Bob Haneckow some time ago on 20 acres of wooded land.
After Bob died, Jay Haneckow owned and operated The Pole Barn for many years.
Jay sold half of the land to his younger brother Jerome Haneckow but the barn still sits on 10 acres of wooded land.
Although he doesn't live there any longer, Jay still owns the place.
The Pole Barn has a small living area with a pot belly wood heater.
There is no running water.
