Detailed description is Recreational and Competition Dance Classes The Pink Slipper Dance Academy was established in the Fall of 2008 by Miss Melanie Lassiter.
What began as a dream became a realtiy as she named the studio and began choreographing and teaching classes.
Since that time, The Pink Slipper has grown and prospered.
The Pink Slipper Dance Academy is committed to providing quality dance training for ages two and up.
The studio has been recognized for their performances in Dancing Like The Stars (a scholarship program that Miss Melanie works with and promotes), The Heritage Festival, and several dance competitions and conventions.
All students are nurtured and personal attention is given in order to promote good self-esteem.
All students are encouraged to work their hardest in order to prove that Jones County's girls and boys can perform with professionalism, grace, and spirit.
Students have explored the art of dance and received special recognition this year.
