Detailed description is Our mission is to motivate for goodness sake.
For the deliverance of those that will deliver us from the mistakes of our fore fathers.
The Miriam Project is a cooperative group of three programs, each program focuses on one of three (3) areas of growth; academics, self-sufficiency, and talent development.
First and foremost, academics is addressed with the Apples & Oranges (afterschool and tutoring) program.
The way this works begins with giving each education level, “mastery goals”, the next step is to assess competency levels of math and reading.
Members rating above average will be allowed to peer-tutor with staff approval or work on an entry level Hero’s Honor.
Average ranking members will be required 4 hours per week tutoring either with homework helper or computer/workbook exercises.
All TMP members enrolled in school are required to bring report card to be recorded at the end of every term, including adults.
Using tools like Khan Academy for math will identify which learning principles are not being mastered so that help will be directed with an action plan to me mastery goal.
