Detailed description is We, the Milk Men, have embarked on a simple cause to collect packet (UHT) milk over the weekend of 19-20 Jan 2013 from anyone keen to donate.
The beneficiaries of milk packets donated are the children cared for at the Children's Aid Society Singapore..
Why appeal for milk donations?.

Because something as simple as collecting milk for those who need it would go a long way.
We are not appealing for cash donations and will not be collecting money or any other types of milk products, just packet (UHT) milk with an expiry date of at least 6 months away.
The aim is to gather 300 litres of packet milk.

Why are we doing this?.
.
The initiative came about when a devotee of the annual Thaipusam festival came together with friends to share stories about his experience.
In the spirit of the festival, where devotees typically carry a kavadi, along with offerings such as flowers and pots of milk from one temple to another as a sign of repentance, we have embarked on this initiative to gather milk packet donations for children at the Children's Aid Society..
