Detailed description is We, the Money Family, closed the Log Cabin back in September, 2014.
We had the opportunity of a lifetime, we bought our beloved Donner Lake Kitchen back!! We, the Money Family, are so excited and honored to be the new owners of The Log Cabin.
This restaurant has been an establishment for over 60 years and we are hoping to make Portola proud! We owned the Donner Lake Kitchen in Truckee for almost 20 years and moved that restaurant to Sierraville, calling it the Sierraville Kitchen and offering the same menu there as we did in Truckee.
After eating at The Log Cabin for many years we have purchased it and are hoping like crazy to make a go of it.
Thank you Portola for giving us a chance, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting the restaurant.
Everyday we are striving to be better and are looking forward to a wonderful year.
