Detailed description is Dog training: Obedience training, crate training, potty training, puppy training.
(Ages 8 weeks-14 weeks).
~Puppy Foundations: 4 private sessions.
Includes puppy basics such as potty training, crate training, umbilical training, nipping, socialization, appropriate play, setting boundaries, and some basic obedience starter skills to help your new puppy adjust and to set up skills for later training.
(Pups who have not completed 2 vaccine series appropriate for their age will not be taught at public parks.).

(Ages 4 months and up).
~Private Basic Obedience Package: 4 lessons that cover sit, down, come and loose leash walking/heel OR 6 lessons that cover sit, down, stay, come, loose leash walking/heel and one other command of your choice (off, leave it, or place).
You can add lessons for an additional fee per lesson or begin the off leash lessons from here..
~Private Consult/Individual Lessons: I will cover one command or consult with you about an issue you may be having.
If you decide you’d like to continue with package lessons, the price and time of consult/lesson will be deducted from the package you choose..

(Ages 6 months and up).
~Off Leash Classes: Includes the Ecollar Technologies remote training collarand 4 lessons to “proof” existing commands.
Your dog must have completed basic obedience *not necessarily with The Good Shepherd* and/or have a grasp of basic commands before taking the off leash class.
(If you sign up for both basic obedience and off leash at the same time, you will receive a discount.).

~Day Training-Your dog stays with me all day once per week for training.This will be scheduled once per week for at least 4 weeks-more if needed on a day that I have no other clients and a minimum of 6 hours including a follow up session for that day with you/your family..

~M-F Training-Your dog stays with me M-F or other agreed upon days, and goes back to you for the weekend.
(Minimum of 4 days).
This will be foundation work that you will need to continue.

~Board and Train (Your dog stays with me for 2-3 weeks to be trained including nights with a follow up training session for you/your family..
***Off Leash Training can be included in a board & train package with the purchase of a remote collar.

*All private classes will be held either a local park or another mutually agreed upon place.
Extra fees may apply if the trainer travels farther then the customary service area even within the counties served.
(For example: although your location may be within a county that is served, you may be charged a travel fee if it is in a remote area.).
**I will only take dogs into my home for B&T programs that I have met and assessed, as I am very particular about the dogs I allow in my own home.
I will not board/train aggressive dogs in my home.
I do not kennel dogs outside; I treat them as my own and they live in our home with us.
I am home most of the time or I am in and out periodically, as I mainly work from home.
I do not leave for 8-12 hours while your dogs are sitting in a cage.
I can also complete off leash remote collar training if you so choose and will order the collars for you at a reduced price (not included with training price for board and train dogs.
It is imperative though, that every owner follow up at home with the training, boundaries and rules set up for the dogs, or any training I do will not matter.
If you choose to take this route, I will let you know what to bring with your dog when you arrive.
