Welcome to The Fox and Hare Rabbitry.
We are a subsidiary of The Fox and Crow Farm located in Barnstead, NH..
Our farm was founded in 2015 and we began our rabbitry with our New Zealand breed rabbits for both fiber and meat.

We recently added our Mini Rex breed and Belgian Hare in 2016 to offer a more diverse assortment of fiber and domesticated pedigreed rabbits.
We offer Black Otter Mini Rex rabbits and the elusive Belgian Hare..
Each rabbit is raised in a deliberate and planned way and handled from birth.
They are kept in a clean indoor environment and enjoy a variety of fresh fruits and veggies..

We offer scheduled tours and tutorials for beginners.
We can build custom cages, barns and other shelters for your own rabbitry..

Rabbit breeding season is here.
We are trying to time the seasons just right here at the farm.
Last summers heat was just too hard on the rabbits and during the winter time we try to just carry our breeders and no litters..

We also had some very uncomfortable situations arise with the sale and re-homing of some of our rabbits.
I almost considered closing our barn to the public.
This has prompted me to change our business model for 2017..

1) The transfer of ownership for live rabbits will only be through an adoption process..
2) Adoption Application forms will be required prior to the transfer of ownership.
3) I will retain the right to refuse the adoption of any rabbit for any reason.
4) All rabbits available for adoption will be fully pedigreed.
5) Contracts are required for all adoptions.
6) I will no longer be offering the sale of live fryer (meat) rabbits.
7) I will be offering fryer (meat) rabbits for sale at the price of $4/lb (fresh, dressed weight) however, they will be culled onsite prior to the rabbit leaving the property..
8) Belgian Hares are fully registered and pedigreed and will only be available for sale to another registered rabbitry listed with the American Rabbit Breeders Association, Inc.
You must be registered in the State that you reside.
You must be a current member of the American Belgian Hare Club..
9) I will not ship a Hare via airline.
You must arrange the transportation..
10) Access to our farm is by invitation only.
The farm is private property and we retain the right to refuse access to anyone at any for any reason.
