You may be eligible to participate in a study of how early stress affects the way in which children think and process emotional information, as well as their brain functioning..

The Early Life Stress study takes place in the Psychology Department at Stanford University.
Your child will participate in an interview, fill out questionnaires, do computer tasks, and possibly have a brain scan.

Involvement in the study requires a time commitment of 2-5 hours over the course of one or two visits, with follow-up sessions scheduled 18-24 months later.
We will schedule the sessions around your availability (daytime, evenings, or weekends are all fine)..
