The Dancers' Space (TDS) is a nonprofit organization and was founded in August 2013 in South Florida in an effort to make visible and develop the art-based, contemporary dance community by creating platforms and programs for pre-professionals bridging to the professional world, professional dancers, dance educators, and choreographers..

By forming two important partnerships with the Raymond F.
Kravis Center for the Performing Arts and the Duncan Theatre, TDS connects the local dance community to the professional national landscape of modern dance by offering unique opportunities never before easily available to local artists.
This collaborative mission sets TDS apart from the traditional model of a dance company and thus has brought wonderful opportunities, such as projects, interaction, and access to South Florida artists and audiences..

To date, TDS has presented 23 Florida artists and companies and commissioned five original works from local, national and international artists, as well as collaborated on special projects with the American Dance Legacy Initiative and BODYTRAFFIC.
In addition, TDS artists have been presented by DANCE/USA in Miami, Palm Beach Poetry Festival, Florida Dance Educators Organization and has outreach and education affiliations with the Harid Conservatory, Palm Beach Atlantic University, BAK Middle School of the Arts and Palm Beach County Schools Professional Development program.
