Children are grouped according to school cohort, academic and emotional development.

Babies: children birth to around 30 months.

Tiddlers: children (aged 2 to nearly 4 years).

Pre-school: children in the year before they start school (ie 3 to nearly 5 years).

All children can come to the Ark for 15 hours per week for FREE, from the term after their 3rd birthday..

Some 2 year olds are also eligible for 15 free hours.
If you are on a low income, phone the Family Information Service tel: 0800 587 8191, with your National Insurance number, and they will tell you if your qualify (or talk to Kathryn or your health visitor).
