Detailed description is Building or restoring Traditional Adobe Homes in New Mexico for three generations.
The Carpenters Son Incorporated was founded by Silviano Gonzales Jr.
upon receiving his GB98 on August 10, 2005.
Silviano had obtained his engineering degree in 1992.
He then worked for an engineering firm for about two years.
Within that time, he designed numerous designs for the county of Santa Fe.
Frost road was the last project he designed before leaving the Engineering Firm to pursue his ambition of building and remodeling houses.
His passion for building houses never diminished when he was taught by his father Silviano Gonzales Sr.
and a brother in law Gilbert Trujillo.
He finally ventured out on his own and began to build up the company starting at 40 years old.
By this time he was a master of building and remodeling residential homes.
What gave him the ability to do this was the combination of his engineering and construction knowledge.
Even as a master of building newly residential houses, Silviano was unsurpassed at remodeling or building custom adobe houses.
Soon enough his oldest son Silviano Gonzales the 3rd had began going to the job sites and working as a laborer.
By the time SG3 began college for a degree in Business Management he learned a vast amount of skills from his father.
Upon completing his degree some years later, SG3 also had the skills needed to run the administrative part of the business.
SG Jr.
finally retained what was needed to open his construction business.
August 10, 2005 was the day the company "The Carpenters Son Inc." was born.
One year into the business and SG3 had completed what he needed to run the job sites in the field.
He was promoted to Site Manager/Foreman.
Within the time both the Silviano Gonzales's worked together they were able to build hundreds of Residential Buildings.
All over the state of NM, and into neighboring states.
They began to flourish so well that SG3 was charged by his father to remodel a 200yr old hacienda in old town Albuquerque.
After successfully completing this project, SG3 was offered a position of co-ownership in the company.
After five years of building beautiful new modern residential and custom adobe homes.
Upon the passing of the founderand co-owner.
SG3 returned to jobs that were scheduled to be completed by scratch until completion.
He was able to complete them with his crew.
His father Silviano Gonzales would have been proud to see the custom building he continues to provide customers to this day.
He builds with his passion for the trade.
Like SG Jr.
would always say , "If you are going to build it, ten do it right the first time.
We don't cut corners or use cheap made materials.
If we have to return to fix a job, then you aren't a real master of your trade!" To this present day The Carpenters Son Inc.
has never got a call back.........
