Cancer patients who are currently on chemo and/or radiation or who have been on chemo/radiation in the past 12 months.

Anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding.

24 Hours prior to your procedure you should refrain from any medication that would thin your blood.
Aspirin and Ibruprofen are the commonly known over the counter drugs.
Please do not discontinue any medicines without the consent of your doctor.
Some commonly known blood thinners include thyroid and anti-inflammatory medications..

You should abstain from alcohol 24 hour prior to your appointment..

5 days prior to your procedure you should discontinue other procedures such as electrolysis, Retin-A, waxing, tinting and laser treatments.

Post Procedure:.

The technician will apply a light coat of vitamin E to your brows immediately after your session.
Use mild soap (ex.
Cetaphil) and water on a cotton ball the first night to wash off your initial barrier treatment.
For the first 2 days, apply a thin layer of vitamin E, grapeseed oil or coconut oil to your brows.
DO NOT WASH AGAIN UNTIL AFTER 7 DAYS..

After the first couple of days, we recommend that you do not use anything on your brows but allow them to heal on their own.
Fading will usually happen within the first 7 days.
True results can only be seen after 3-4 weeks when the skin has had time to completely restore itself.
Try to leave your brows alone and not do anything to them if possible..

Do not rub or pick at the epithelial crust, allow it to flake off on its own.
After 7 days you can gently rinse the treated area with a mild soap.
Rinse with water and lightly pat the area dry.
Do not expose the area to full water pressure of a shower until the area has been fully healed..

Do not soak the treated area in a bath, swimming pool or hot tub for 2 weeks following your treatment..

Do not swim in fresh , salt or chlorinated water for 7 days after your procedure..

To prevent fading it is recommended to apply a gentle sunscreen with SPF of at least 30.
Wait at least 1 week after having the procedure..

Consult your health care provider at the first sign of an infection or allergic reaction..

You will not be allowed to donate blood for at least 1 calendar year, following your procedure.

Failure to follow post procedure instructions may result in loss of pigment, discoloration, or infection.
