Detailed description is We are a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to teaching combat wounded Veterans how to fly for FREE, in order to greatly improve their quality and outlook of life.
Currently, working within the FAA's New Light Sport category, we are able to train eligible combat wounded veterans to receive their Light Sport Pilots Certificate.
This is obtainable by many of our veterans and even multiple amputee veterans, as there is no doctor's physical exam required for Light Sport (you may be eligible to fly with just a valid driver’s license).

With the adaptive controls we currently have configured, we can teach up to a triple amputee that still has a right hand and left elbow.
That’s pretty amazing for a veteran who thought they'd never get out of a wheelchair again.
Even if a veteran does not qualify for the flight training there is another half to our program that could be suitable to still get them involved in aviation..

In addition to Pilot training we offer a Light Sport Repairman Certificate.
This 30 day course will prepare the veteran for an exciting career in aviation! The students will be taught the basics of Light Sport Mechanics, effectively gaining the ability to field repair an aircraft if necessary.
After completion of the course the student is then hirable to us, as an apprentice under an A&P (airframe and power plant mechanic.) After one year, they can then be signed off to take the A&P test, which could lead to a high paying job if passed..

Our veterans deserve the best care possible, so we treat the program as more of a retreat than a flight school.
Though the curriculum is stringent, we try to balance the heavy work load by eliminating stress from the soldiers' lives.
We provide housing and meals for the duration of training as well as evening and weekend outings such as: Fine local dining, deep-sea and fresh water fishing, shooting ranges, golfing, and many more.
