Detailed description is I The Bitter End nascono nel 2005 con lo scopo di fondere le influenze quasi totalmente diverse di quattro personalità diversissime.
Come trio son diventati sempre più stupidi :D.

let's play it loud!! www.myspace.com/theitalianbitter.Livio Ghilardi (basso), Ambrogio Locardo (batteria) e Donato Silvestri (chitarra) fondano i THE BITTER END all'inizio di settembre del 2005 a Noci (BA)..
Dopo due settimane di prove Giuseppe Liuzzi (voce) entra nella band..
L'obiettivo della band è suonare un mix di metal e punk (i generi musicali che più amano) cercando di essere originali ..
Il nome della band è ispirato alla canzone omonima dei Sum 41..
I THE BITTER END suonano dal vivo per la prima volta il 23 dicembre 2005 al Liceo Classico-Linguistico "Laterza" di Putignano (BA).
Nella setlist c'erano canzoni di Offspring, Blink-182, Green Day, Sum 41 e una speciale versione punk di "Jingle Bells"..
All'inizio del 2006 la band compone il suo primo brano, "Metal Punk".
Con questa canzone i THE BITTER END arrivano quattordicesimi al concorso musicale "Giovani Note" e "Metal Punk" viene pubblicata in una compilation distribuita in tutta Italia..
Dopo altri concerti, Giuseppe comincia a suonare la chitarra..
A causa di divergenzemusicali, Donato lascia il gruppo all'inizio del 2007..
Dopo aver cercato un chitarrista solista invano, la band decide di continuare come trio, sviluppando maggiormente il proprio lato "pesante" e facendo confluire svariate influenze all'interno dei propri brani..
A gennaio 2008 la band entra negli studi di registrazione Pro Music con Giuseppe Schinaia e realizza il primo EP, chiamato "Converge All-Scars", contenente 7 brani (tra i quali due cover, "La canzone del sole" di Lucio Battisti e "Stand by Me" degli Oasis, rivisitate in chiave punk)..
A settembre 2009 il gruppo nocese viene selezionato e partecipa al prestigiosissimo "Music Village" di Simeri (CZ), evento organizzato da Event Sound Promotion al quale prendono parte 80 band scelte in tutta Italia..
Negli ultimi due anni i THE BITTER END hanno suonato molto in vari paesi delle province di Bari, Brindisi e Taranto, presentando moltissimi brani inediti (la cui peculiarità è quella di avere titoli che traducono in inglese espressioni dialettali, con un improbabile indicazione di genere musicale tra parentesi) e cover molto divertenti (tra gli altri, la band riarrangia brani degli Oesais, storica creazione del duo comico barese Toti e Tata, e del folksinger della Murgia Enantino, tra l'altro loro compaesano).
