Changing the World One Act of Random Kindness at a Time Welcome! The ARK United Methodist Church was first chartered in 1982 as the McCook Lake United Methodist Church.
In 2008 the church decided to change the name to The ARK United Methodist Church because we felt that the new name better reflected the views and mission of our Church.
The ARK was chosen as the new name because of our mission of Acts of Random Kindness..

We worship as a casual congregation with a contemporary service at 9:30 AM on Sunday mornings.
We also have a traditional service each Monday at StoneyBrook Suites assisted living in Dakota Dunes at 2 PM.
