Well That's Kat Vintage has been around since 2007 where I began my Adventure as a Dealer at the Pomona Antique Mart in Old Downtown Pomona! I started out collecting Mid Century Modern styled furniture, accessories and home decor my tastes are pretty eclectic and I just appreciate the unique and the unusual.
I look for items that are unique with lots of personality.
I appreciate well made pieces of furniture which is really hard to find these days unless you want to spend a small fortune.
I started refurbishing and restoring vintage furniture with a good cleaning and new upholstery .
Fast forward to the present where my involvement with the Vintage Vault of Upland as...
I didn't really have a title however, I pretty much helped get the store of to a strong start and did everything you can think of from buying, pricing, graphics design, marketing, social media, networking, visual display and community outreach.
I'm proud of the accomplishments and the positive contribution I made to helping set up one of Uplands Premier Antique Malls.
Everything happens for a reason and my presence there opened a new door for me, and I found myself embarking on yet another new chapter and journey.
I will be taking on a couple of product lines that cater to the do it yourself market.
Paint & Paddles offers a line of Chalky Paint in a beautiful selection of colors.
In addition I will be representing My Savvy Sisters line of Chalk Paint Dust (turns any flat latex based paint into chalk paint any color any brand as well as their complete line of chalk paint supplies and supporting products.
