goal is to provide a venue where high school .
students have the opportunity to compete in .
organized tournaments while establishing .
strict guide lines and academic standards that .
will allow students to excel Texas High School Bass Association was started with the hopes of getting more young adults interested in the outdoors.
It was the work of 6 very dedicated team advisors in the North East Texas region.
We launched the idea in august of 2013 with 8 schools participating and as of the end of the 2016-2017 season, we now have 140 member schools, with more calling everyday looking to join.
What started with one division has now grown to 6 divisions statewide for the upcoming 2017-2018 season, with plans to look at the San Antonio/Austin area for the 2018-2019 season.
This past season we were able to award over $200,000 in scholarships and prizes.
The THSBA is the premier high school fishing trail in the country!
