Je kan er laat uit je nest komen zonder dat de buurvrouw het aan je ma vertelt, je kan er feesten en fietsen, shoppen en chillen..

Maar de ene stad is de andere niet en vaak weten ze het ook niet van elkaar.
Terwijl de goede voorbeelden vaak letterlijk op straat liggen.
Daarom willen wij een paar steden testen.
Niet zomaar wat steden, maar echte studentensteden: Krakau, Valencia, München en Kopenhagen.
Hoe gaan zij om met hun mobiliteit? En kunnen we daar in Vlaanderen nog iets van leren, of andersom? .

Mobiliteit? Jawel.
Want tegen 2050 wil Europa het verkeer in alle steden CO2-vrij maken.
Als je dan nog in een stad woont alvast een goede zaak voor je longen & het milieu.
Maar zo'n propere stad komt er natuurlijk niet zomaar.
Daar moeten we met zijn allen veel moeite voor doen en knopen doorhakken op alle niveaus.
Daarom wil Saïd El Khadraoui (Leuvenaar en Europees Parlementslid) deze zomer 4 duo's op onderzoek sturen.
Wat valt er te leren in Krakau? Hoe fietsen ze in Valencia? Hoe lang kan je in de file staan in München? Hoe geraak je het snelst door Kopenhagen? Kan je met technologie een beter vervoer creëren en zou het niet beter zijn als vrachtwagens hun goederen aan de rand van de stad afzetten in plaats van pal in het centrum? .
