Detailed description is Tamworth Marsupial Park is a free entry attraction which includes a walk-in bird aviary, interactive kangaroo enclosure, Adventure Playground and much more Tamworth Marsupial Park is a FREE ENTRY Family Park (not a zoo), in a natural bush setting, just 2klms from the town CBD.
The Park is totally maintained and upgraded by a small band of friendly, dedicated and passionate volunteers.
Maintenance and upgrading of the Park is totally funded by visitor donations, sponsorships and successful applications for funding from government bodies..
Marsupial Park has a small selection of mainly native bird and animal exhibits to delight and educate people of all ages and nationalities.
