Hidden deep in the Chippewa National Forest on 44 wooded acres along 800 feet of pristine lakeshore on Sand Lake of the Bowstring chain, Tam O'Shanter is a well kept secret.
This magical hideaway, located 50 miles northwest of Grand Raids, Minnesota is ideal for family gatherings, romantic getaways and hunting and fishing vacations.
Our newly renovated lakeside cabins sleep 4 to 6 people.
Tam O'Shanter's rustic lodge is the perfect and peaceful retreat for book clubs, church groups and scrapbookers.

Tam O’Shanter cabins come equipped with refrigerator, range, microwave and coffee maker.
We supply kitchen and bed linens.
Guests bring their own bath and beach towels.
All cabins have one bathroom with a shower.
Rates are $550 per week and $350 per 3 night weekend.
(based on a family of 2- 5 people, additional guests pay $10 per day) Use of canoes and water toys are included with cabin rental.
