Since we lived in an apartment complex, there were constantly dogs and cats roaming in a similar fashion as myself and on this particular afternoon I came face to face with a Cocker Spaniel named Cookie*.
Perhaps she didn’t like the fact that I was eye level with her since I was a mere 5 years old, but whatever the reason she let me know by wrapping my face in her jaw.
At the end of the day, I had very minor injuries and an unlikely reaction; I loved dogs even more..
