Detailed description is We rescue and adopt out huskies that are in danger of being euthanized around the Reno/Lake Tahoe area.
PLEASE NOTE: We DO NOT currently take "owner surrenders" at this time.
We can do a courtesy post for your dog; ONLY if they are spayed/neutered.
We have been fostering huskies for over 10 years, and finally decided to start Tahoe Husky Rescue in the summer of 2015.
For now, we are a home based rescue and while our focus is on huskies, we hope to expand what breeds we rescue in the upcoming years.
We are currently looking for 5-20 acres in or around the Truckee area to start building our DREAM RESCUE, which would include, huskies, pit bulls and retiring older horses.
However, this process is not going to be easy or cheap in any way.
We currently raise money by buying stuff at estate sales and auctions and resell them for a profit on eBay.
Profits are used to help us pay for vet bills, dog food, spay/neuter, etc.
and hopefully get to our goal of having our DREAM RESCUE one day.

We also accept donations of items we can sell and will even clean out entire estates and collections, so please, keep us in mind:) We are 501(c)(3) exempt through IRS.
