The architecture is fusion of colonial and ethnic Kumaoni village homes.
The stones and the wood used on the project are 100% reclaimed from old dilaidated village homes, there by leaving a minimal carbon foot print.
All the material for the project was either hand carried on head loads or hauled up by mules.
Employment generation for the local population has been the driving factor in the conceptualization of this project.
