Detailed description is SUUNS aims to promote awareness of the ideals of the UN.
We run simulated debates (MiniMUNs), conferences and social events..

INSTAGRAM: usydunsociety We are the first and largest university society in NSW promoting the work of the United Nations (UN), an international body that addresses global affairs through diplomatic and practical means.

Throughout the semester, we run events such as:.
- MiniMUNs, which are debates conducted in a similar fashion to the UN.
- speaker events, where we often invite a key person in fields such as humanitarian issues and international relations.
- social events, such as trivia, to give members an opportunity to bond and create life long friends.

Our biggest event is our annual conference, SydMUN, which is 3 days of debating, public speaking, last minute draft resolutions and fUN! .
